Gmail Annotations
Stand out in the
Promotions tab.
Add a deal badge with your discount code and expiry date, and a large promo image, to the way your email appears in Gmail. Shoppers see the offer in the inbox list, before they open anything.
Deal badge · Discount code · Expiry date · Promo image card
Seen before the open
The offer appears in the Promotions tab list itself.
Code and expiry up front
Shoppers know the deal and the deadline at a glance.
Set per campaign
Each promotion carries its own badge and image.
In the inbox list
Your offer, visible
before the open.
Gmail can show promotional details right in the Promotions tab. Flashmail adds the markup Gmail reads (schema.org DiscountOffer and PromotionCard), so your email shows a badge and an image instead of a single line of text.
Per campaign

you build the campaign.
Annotations are configured in the Template step of the campaign wizard, so every promotion can carry its own code, expiry and image. No code to write.

Common questions.
Will every recipient see the annotation?
Annotations are a Gmail feature for the Promotions tab. Gmail decides when to display them, so recipients on other email services, or emails Gmail files elsewhere, show your email normally.
Is this the same as buttons inside an opened email?
No. Gmail Annotations appear in the inbox list before the email is opened. Action buttons inside an opened email use a different Gmail markup.
Do I need to write any code?
No. You fill in the fields in the campaign wizard and Flashmail adds the markup to the email.
